My Students
Kenroy Elementary has the most amazing students a school could ever want. We are a title 1 school with families who get involved to help their students succeed. We have a diverse student population. The dedication our students and their families have is like no other. Our teachers and staff are the best of the best. We are lucky at Kenroy to have this winning combination of community support and students who succeed! Let's improve the surroundings and make this a place where students succeed and feel welcome.
My Project
We are like many schools, we are finding ourselves in a predicament of not having enough space and with the remodel put on hold we are in trouble! We would like to utilize our courtyard. That's when we got the idea of a quad! It has a collegiate feel to it. We already have a beautiful outdoor courtyard that comes complete with a bench, table, and many beautiful flowers and trees. We are hoping to add to this space, to make it usable for students during one on one instruction with our Educational Paras, Speech Pathologist, School Counselors or Interventionist. Adding 3 more round tables with connected benches would provide exactly what we need. With space being next to impossible to find at our school I feel this is an obvious solution for this problem. Please consider this project to help all of our Kenroy students, teachers and staff achieve educational excellence.
