This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
AP Psychology is no walk in the park. The students have to learn hundreds of new psychological terms while they navigate the equivalent of a college level course. During that time, they learn the history of psychology, brain and neural anatomy, research and statistics, abnormal psychology, and more!
Having these materials will show them even more applications to the content they study throughout the year.
They can review their work by browsing posters or looking through books with engaging visuals. Every bit of exposure helps them retain the material and learn its various applications. They can go on to use this information to help others in clinical psych develop better systems in educational or organizational psych, solve crimes in forensic psych, or help themselves by applying what they've learned to their own personal growth - not to mention, save money on college courses!
