I am a PreK teacher for 18 energetic 3 and 4 year old students in an urban elementary school. They are always inquisitive and eager to learn. I would like to offer my students opportunities and tools to learn and to explore.
With your generosity, I will be able to provide all fun activities that my children will cherish and enjoy during their first year of the school experience.
My Project
Imagine your first day of real school. It is so wonderful to have your own new crayons, paper, and watercolors, to create and learn. Unfortunately, these days have been very challenging. With the pandemic, many families will not be able to purchase supplies for their children.
I want to make sure every child has what he or she needs to feel prepared, happy and creative in Pre-K.
I am asking for just some of the basic supplies for each child, to welcome them to a new school year.
Because of the pandemic, children will need to socially distance to stay safe and healthy at school. They will need to have individual supplies when in previous years, they could share. Providing a set of crayons, scissors and watercolor will ensure my young students will have at least some of what they need to be creative, practice writing and fine motor skills and enjoy being a kid in the first year of school!
