My Project

Help me give my students basketball equipment to work on their game at recess and during PE class. These basketballs will help my students be able to work on dribbling, shooting, passing and ultimately play more basketball than ever before.

My goal of this project are to provide my students with a set of game quality basketballs.

With these basketballs the students will be able to work on their game daily at lunch and during PE class.

My students come from a variety of cultural backgrounds, and many are living in homes that are below the poverty line. All of our students receive free lunch. Our school is one of the most ethnically diverse schools in a large city in Pa. My students speak a multitude of languages including English and Spanish. As diverse as our students are culturally, they are just as diverse in their academics. We currently have 400 students enrolled from grades K-5. Funds are extremely tight in my school district, and our students need every resource they can get.
