I am requesting two 3D printers and filament for my Robotics and CTE classes, as well as for several STEM clubs I sponsor at my high school. My students are eagerly looking forward to enhancing their Robots using 3D printed add-ons.
Students will learn how to design and 3D print items that can be added onto their robots.
This will allow students to work on designing and engineering, while unleashing their creative and artistic talents. Personalizing their robots will give them a sense of pride and ownership.
My Robotics and STEM Clubs are looking forward to participating in in-person competitions this year. Registration fees for these competitions are costly and students are always finding ways to raise funds to pay for competition registration fees. My STEM Clubs plan on 3D printing school and club spirit items around the Holidays and year round to fundraise for activities and competitions they would like to participate in.
