it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come from an underserved population. I want to ensure their progress to gain basic literacy skills so that they become lifelong readers and learners. I love that I am able to make a difference in each and every one of their lives. Each day, I have the privilege of instructing students in small groups to help them learn letters and read words. I want these materials to help students learn in a more engaging way.
These learning materials will be used in our learning centers to help motivate and ignite students' thinking so they become lifelong readers and learners!
I would like to be able to print and laminate task cards so that the students can stay focused on a task at hand. The expectations for their learning will be clear. While the materials we are using are fun, we also want to learn and use them the correct way. My students love building so why not build with letters. I would like blocks with letters so students can put letters together and make both real words and nonsense make believe words. These materials will spark their imaginations, while they are having fun at school and learning reading skills to succeed.
We are excited to learn about letters and put them together to make words! These reading materials will make school a lot of fun and keep them engaged and motivated.
