This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The introduction of the heavy trucks and the train sets will foster all types of play and STEM opportunities for my students to explore on their own. While having fun they will develop problem-solving skills, building and engineering skills, and learn to work together.

Having the big trucks will add a new component to outdoor play.

Most of my students do not have the opportunity to play with these types of trucks and explore the outdoors. Things on the playground previously overlooked will become cargo to be moved, dumped, and hoisted.

The only limits are their imaginations.
