Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Legos are a universal toy. Students don't need to be able to read a set of directions. They just pick up the Lego pieces and let their creativity take over. Having a class set of Legos would allow my students to expand their skills, and teach them how to design, create, and build while having fun interacting with their peers.
I have found Legos to be a calming, yet challenging tool even for the most reluctant learners.
My students would benefit from being able to play creatively and unplug from their surroundings.
