Build Confidence With Early Chapter Books

Help me give my students beginner chapter books to build confidence and a love of reading.

My Project

My youngest students who are ready to read independently need early readers available that will help build their confidence and prepare them for a successful transition to early chapter books.

The early chapter books that I am requesting are from the Scholastic Acorn collection.

These books are specifically written for growing readers ages 4-7 who are ready to read independently. They feature a series of engaging stories from award-winning authors with easy-to-read text, fun characters and colorful illustrations on every page. Each book also has engaging activities to help reinforce understanding of the story. These books are the perfect gateway to early chapter books and then traditional chapter books and chapter book series for my students.

Our youngest readers deserve early readers that they can independently read and enjoy. It is my goal to provide these books for my young readers so they can continue to use the library as a source to grow as lifelong readers!
