My Students
At our school, our students are eager to learn by doing. We use an arts-infused curriculum to encourage self-exploration, build self-confidence, and increase social and emotional development.
I enjoy working with my students because they are innovators and collaborators that thrive on interactive learning experiences.
They are imaginative and curious about the world around them.
Eighty-seven percent of our students are eligible for free and reduced lunch, and more than one-third of our families reside in subsidized housing. We partner with our students and families to provide a high quality early childhood education and set them up for success.
My Project
We want our students to be exposed to as many forms of literacy as possible. While they are inquisitive, creative, and always up for a new adventure, we are seeing gaps in their exposure to literacy as they develop. We don't all have the same access to resources that would help their reading thrive.
We want to create an audiobook library so that they see the words as well as hear them.
Every child learns differently and we want to give them as many learning opportunities as possible. Let's support a reading Rainbow Room.
