My students need dry erase pens and erasers, bouncy bands and light covers to build a better classroom.

My Students

My students are amazing! Our K-8 elementary school is located in a rural part of central California in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains. We love our community and the natural resources we have in our area.

Many of my students come from middle to low-income families.

My students come to school every day excited to learn something new and ready to take on a new challenge. While our students have many obstacles in their lives, they persevere and succeed.

My Project

Classrooms are a funny place. Everyone wants to be comfortable and happy in their learning environment, but it takes lots of thought and effort on the teacher's part to make this happen.

Creating a better classroom environment is what this project is all about.

Fidget Bands for Bouncy Feet and fluorescent light covers will create a calmer classroom environment for my students. My students use whiteboards every day, and having their own mini eraser and dry erase marker in their desk will be extremely helpful. Many of my students also need practice with their multiplication facts and the Power Pen Learning Cards will be a much-needed resource to practice basic facts.
