My Students
My students are outgoing, hardworking, motivated and dedicated to education. They are from a small rural community that is like family.
Agriculture and Environmental Science are a large part of their everyday lives.
My agriculture science classes are a blend of student in different educational levels and age ranges. The mass of the student body is from lower income families and are on free or reduced lunch program. They are hands on learners at love to read, learn, question and explore.
My Project
In my classes we cover subject about insects and the environment. Having models of insects and preserved insect specimens will benefit their hands on learning.
Students need visual aids to completely understand and identify insects for their future careers and learning.
Over all interest in anthropology has increased in my classes and I wish to keep their motivation at a high level for learning.
These items will benefit all of my classes and will be used for many years to come. Students will get a great visual aid to use in identifying insects. We will also be able to help out community garden maintain a successful growing year with student have this education.
