This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My young scholars attend a Title 1 school, where most students come families with low incomes. I am requesting the Ladybug Land with Prepaid Voucher and the Butterfly Kit to teach my students all about insects. Students will get an opportunity to see firsthand the butterfly and ladybug life cycles.
Providing live specimens to observe and study will help students think like a scientist.
Students will experience the butterfly and ladybug life cycles up close. In addition, this may inspire some of my students to become an entomologist in the future. Students will also receive mini insect toys and stickers throughout the insect lessons.
