Curious, creative, determined, and engaged are just a few of the words that come to mind when I think about my students. Their enthusiasm for science is the source of my desire to deliver a top-notch science program.
We are a diverse school with students from all over the world and spanning all socio-economic groups.
This diversity pushes me to plan lessons that will give all my students the opportunity to be successful and follow their interests as they relate to the curriculum.
My Project
I am requesting a beneficial bugs specimen kit. In this kit, there are the actual insects that many students know and love. This kit is unique as it showcases insects that are good for our ecosystem. The second item is bar magnets. These magnets are color-coded and will help students better understand the North/South pole interactions.
Students thrive when they are given the opportunity to touch and observe up close the concepts and ideas we are studying.
These objects will support my students' curiosity, exploration, and wonder as we learn together in science.
