My Students

My students are the most curious, intrigued, entry-level programmer-type students that you will ever meet. They come to school smiling, ready to take on the challenges of the day. My students want to be college-ready. They have to work hard. Many of them are second language learners. All of my students qualify for free breakfast and lunch, and once a month, Second Harvest brings my children nourishing fruits and vegetables. Life is not easy for them, but nothing is going to stop them from learning, and being the best they can be.

My Project

It looks like we are returning to the classroom like nothing ever happened... YIKES! Face to face learning and teaching is a fear that many of us will face.

Let's be proactive and take the fear away as we immediately walk into the classroom.

By purchasing these healthy germ killing supplies for the students to use on a regular basis, the students and the teachers may be able to set some of the fear to the side. It is a simple way for the students and the teachers to be safe. I am asking for lysol wipes, spray, hand sanitizer, hand wipes and tissue to help keep all the flu bugs away.
