This project is fully funded

I teach 4th grade students at a school that has many first year teachers that are lacking in resources for their classrooms including classroom libraries. When students do not have books available to them on a regular basis they are not being given the "optimal" learning experience. Our school has students on a variety of reading levels and each of the classrooms need to have a variety of books to accommodate each students level. I need a classroom library of books on a variety of different levels and topics, so we can buddy read to a class that does not have a classroom library. We will bring books on their level and share our materials with them. We will also allow them to check out the books each week, so they can practice them in their classroom. The students need to have easy access to books at all times during the day to increase their reading levels and enjoyment of reading. We will be working with lower level students (buds) helping them blossom into fluent readers. Your help will ensure that the students are reading great literature everyday! You will make it possible for me to help a first year teacher provide an optimal learning environment to the children in her classroom this year and every year to come!
