My Project

My students are starting to learn to manage money, some of them are even starting to get their first jobs. One of my favorite projects is our budgeting simulation, where they experience what it's like to manage adult finances—from salaries and taxes to housing, groceries, and childcare. They always take this project seriously and love the challenge of staying out of debt while planning for a future.

To keep the project running smoothly, I’m requesting folders to help students stay organized as they track their expenses, updated calculators so they can make accurate financial decisions, and ring pops to add a fun (and memorable!) touch when they "get married" and combine their incomes.

Each item plays a small but meaningful role in helping students connect to this hands-on learning experience. Your support will make a lasting impact on their understanding of budgeting, responsibility, and financial independence.
