This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students enjoy listening to the adventures of Horrible Harry because he is a second grade student just like them. With Horrible Harry book sets, the students will be motivated to improve their reading skills as they are moving into chapter books.
The additional classroom supplies such as dry erase markers, and erasers will help us continue our daily math and writing practice.
The students like to "Write It, Hide It, and Show It" when we are showing what they know. It is a quick way to show the teacher and their classmates all that they have learned.
They also love motivators such as small prizes. When the students are feeling anxious, fidgets come in very handy so that they can stay focused on the task at hand.
Finally, in order to keep illnesses at bay, our classroom can always use disinfecting wipes. Our classroom is our home away from home and we work very hard to keep it nice and clean.
