Buddy Binder Bonanza!

Our first graders need 160 view binders to help them get organized so that they are ready for success!

This project is fully funded

We're not at the Ponderosa, but we need help to "lasso" up some binders! I teach at an elementary school in the heart of "Cajun Country." We have a diverse population of students that range from students in a French Immersion Program to students who are at-risk. We are also a host school for students who reside at the local shelter. Our school is not a "melting pot" but more like a "good gumbo" that utilizes whatever ingredient we have to turn out something good!

Many of our students have a challenging home life that at times can change from day to day or can just simply be chaotic. If we can make it easier for our little first graders to be better organized and responsible, then we are laying the ground work for future success!

With the binders, we'll call "Buddy Binders", the students will be able to have everything he or she needs right at their little fingertips. They will not have to stress over what they forgot to bring home or where they did with their homework. It will all be there in the binder ready for home learning. The binders will also serve as a better communication tool between parents and teachers.

With your help in acquiring these "Buddy Binders" we will be able to help our little ones be ready for learning each day in order to be successful all year. So help us "lasso" up some good quality binders!
