This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school and community are actively working to make our playground a fun and exciting place for the elementary student body to enjoy. I know this project is above the usual DonorsChoose funding amount, but this project will benefit more than one classroom of students! Currently, our playground does not have any seating for students and I would love to provide this with any willing donors’ support.

I would like to designate a portion of one of the benches as a “buddy bench” to encourage kindness and friendship!

Please help me provide our elementary student body with these outdoor benches, that will be used for many, many years by thousands of students! Thank you!
