This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have a class of artists who just need the right materials to help them create! My co-teacher and I teach 20 of the brightest first graders in Brooklyn. They love to draw and create original artwork. There is just one problem, we don't have enough art supplies like markers and crayons for them to use.
They will be able to add illustrations to their writing, show how they solved a math problem or create an original work of as part of a project.
You will be helping budding artists and others discover the artist inside them.
