This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Last year's collaboration with the first-grade class was a resounding success, demonstrating the incredible potential when different age groups come together to learn and create. The art supplies and seeds we're requesting this year will play pivotal roles in their educational journey.

This hands-on activity will enhance their fine motor skills and imaginative thinking, encouraging them to think outside the box.

The art supplies will empower our students to express themselves through vibrant designs on rocks, fostering their artistic talents and boosting their confidence in their creative abilities. The seeds, on the other hand, will initiate a vital lesson in botany, agriculture, and environmental stewardship. Our students will learn about the life cycle of plants, the importance of nurturing a garden, and the ecological benefits it brings to our community. They will witness firsthand the magic of growth, instilling a sense of responsibility for the natural world.

Our primary goal for this project is to instill a lifelong love for learning, creativity, and nature in our students. We aim to cultivate a sense of teamwork and collaboration between grade levels, fostering a supportive learning environment.
