My Project
My students loved a chapter excerpt that we read of the Newbery Winner book Bud, Not Buddy. To help encourage that love for reading, I would like to buy a class set of the novel for my students so that we can do a novel study. I have half of the books which I purchased out of pocket, and would appreciate help with the rest! I have 30 students in all.
My students loved listening to Bud's story and learning about what jazz is.
I hope to implement some music history as well with this project and garner a love for jazz. I think this will be a fun novel study for the kids, and they seemed 'jazzed' about it when I told them we could dive into it.
