This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a class, we enjoy reading exciting and enriching novels together. Many students in our school do not read regularly, and have never read an entire grade-level chapter book before. When our class has a great novel, students are able to connect in so many elements that are essential with reading, just by having a book in their hands.

It’s amazing to see how much joy shines in their eyes, by turning each page with excitement.

While in 4th grade, our goal is to explore new worlds, discover exciting cultures, engage in meaningful discussions, and ultimately fall in love with reading.
