Buckets, Dinosaurs, and Shovels! Oh My! Recess Toys for Kindergarten

Help me give my students recess toys and activities for individual and cooperative play!

My Project

Science has shown just how good recess is for our students. In addition to bringing joy, recess boosts mood, improves focus and cognition, and gives students opportunities to make friends and grow their social and emotional growth! At our school, we have a lovely playground, but the area isn't particularly big, especially for the number of students we have.

The Kindergarten Team wants to give our students more activities to engage in!

These dinosaurs, buckets, shovels, and other tools will give these kinders some fun things to do in our gravel pit. Students will be able to cooperatively play with others or enjoy something fun to do on their own.

The lock box and lock will help protect these awesome new toys from the weather and going missing over the weekends.
