This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This group of kids are sweet, but need extra help when it comes to behavior and social emotional skills. The families in our school are low income. I teach music, theater, dance and visual art. This group of 2nd graders love movement and visual art, but are expected to put on a spring musical performance.
I'm looking for a fun way to engage my 2nd graders in general music.
I want them to find a healthy way to express themselves and have fun performing. Bucket drumming would be a fun, new way to incorporate popular music into our classroom.
