My Project
Covid-19 contributed to students learning through more virtual ways than we had in the early childhood classroom in the past. My students need hands-on engaging activities while they are in the classroom setting. These resources are books and materials that focus on helping my students grow in literacy. The CVC and sight word bubble boards are a way to capitalize on student's interests to draw them into solidifying their learning. The writing tablets provide an alternative to just pencil and paper practice, which will hopefully entice my students into wanting to practice their spelling. I want to use the kerplunk game as a reward for working hard on skills in class. I believe it is important to find new and different ways of reaching students than what we had always done before.
