This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school is an elementary school that serves students from kindergarten to 5th grade. We are located in the middle of a diverse and dense urban population in Los Angeles, California. My students love learning and get excited about learning daily.
We are a Title I school that serves low-income families from different cultural backgrounds and diverse needs.
Learning is our focus and finding creative ways to learn about important subjects is always a priority. Science is one of those subjects and it's one our students' favorite.
My Project
Who doesn't like bubbles? Young or old we are always fascinated by them and stop what we are doing to stare at their tragectory. With this Bubble Bonanza kit my students can now explore the science behind bubbles and become engineers in the process. As stated previously, science is an important subject that is constantly evolving. It is also a child favorite because it's interactive and hands-on. This unit and kits will not only provide learning but students will also create their own bubble wands.
Investigating the properties behind the movement of bubbles will only enhance our love for bubbles and science.
Students will get the opportunity to explore different materials to create different bubble wands and observe the movement of the bubbles through their creation. This is a fun project that will have all of us exploring, learning and participating.
