My Students
My school is a Title I school and nearly all of our students receive free breakfast and lunch meals. Regardless of any situation, I always encourage my students to keep trying because everything takes time to learn and do. The rewards will be worth it in the long run. My two groups of wonderful learners are in a Mandarin dual-language program. Every day they spend half the day in an English-speaking classroom with me, and the other half-day with their Mandarin teacher.
My first-grade students work very hard every day to learn all subjects in both English and Mandarin in order to be proficient in both languages.
My Project
My goal is to create a fun, safe, and friendly learning environment, as well as to promote learning progress by rewarding students with incentives.
The incentive prizes (bubbles) and snacks (apple chips) will be available to my students for reinforcing good behavior and for rewarding students for their hard work.
Simple acts of kindness and positivity can reward and motivate students to stay engaged and participate in class. Thus, they can reach and exceed their educational expectations.
These snacks and prizes have been chosen and tailored to reflect the interests of my students. Thank you for your consideration.
