This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My 6th graders are primarily ELLs, school is a scary place for anyone but especially for a student who doesn't primarily speak the language spoken in class. I am working to allow them a comfortable space where they can try new things and I believe that part of that comfort comes from flexible seating. I want to make sure these students have the opportunity to succeed and I would love it (and I'm sure they will appreciate it) if we could make our wishes a reality this year. Go Lions!
