This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school is a diverse and inviting environment! Everyone who visits us loves how friendly and caring our students and staff are. I love the bright faces smiling so eager to learn the lessons of the day! Regardless of what life throws at them, they optimistically make their way to school, knowing that they will have a safe, warm, and loving environment waiting.
My students mean the world to me and I want them to know that the community supports them.

My Project
Please help me obtain art supplies for my students, since the arts are no longer taught at our school. Since the pandemic, my students and I stay six hours in one room. We no longer get to have art, music, or drama. The students really miss being able to express themselves through music, drawing and painting.
I have requested paintbrushes, paint, and markers.
With these art supplies, the students and I would like to add illustrations and paintings to our writing. We would like to learn about self-portraits and discuss art. Please help me expose my kiddos to the arts!
