My Students
My students are amazing kids who face many challenges both at home and at school. My students all have various disabilities, but they don't let their disabilities hold them back.
All of my students are unique, but one thing is the same in each of them: they love to learn! My students come from a variety of backgrounds and face many challenges before even entering our school. We work together every day to overcome those challenges and reach new heights. I work with about 75 special education students every week, reaching kids with various disabilities. My students love to move, explore and play.
My Project
Its only November, but we already have lots of snow outside and it is cold, cold, cold!
Despite the cold, many of my students don't have the snow gear they need to keep them warm and comfortable on their walks to the bus stop or to school and during recess.
My students need gloves and hats to help them keep warm through our long Michigan winter ahead. All kids, no matter their family income, should have warm heads and hands so they can comfortably walk to school or the bus stop. All kids should have warm heads and hands at recess too. I need your help to make sure all of my amazing kiddos have the warm gear they need this winter.
