This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This Winter has been especially cold here in San Diego. My students come to school without a jacket or sweater and are always cold. We all know that we can't learn when we are cold. It is hard enough to get out of our warm bed but to go outside without a proper jacket is just brutal.
My students need warm jackets to get from home to school every day.
Most of my students and their families are struggling to make ends meet with high inflation and a jacket might be an extra expense they can't afford. Please help me get my students the proper clothes to get through these cold mornings.
