My students are energetic, middle schoolers. They are in school for 7 hours before they have a break at the end of the day. With the harsh New England winter, we have been forced to stay inside for recess. There is not much for the students to do! My kids are deserving of games they can play with one another as well as a tablet to stream on the big screen to watch videos or play games. The social interaction of recess is what matters and the with games and activities they can do together, it is teaching them essential social skills, all while burning energy.
