Help me give my students tactile examples for metals of bronze age technology.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Fields's classroom raised $189
This project is fully funded
My Project
My students learn about the development of technology throughout history. Our earliest technology starts in the stone age and we learn about the use of rocks as tools. Then we learn about how certain metals could be removed by mining or extracting them from ore and used to create tools.
Students will be able to understand the differences between the stone age, bronze age and iron age by having access to samples of metal ore and samples.
We will talk about the properties of the different metals, the extraction process for ores and how alloys change the properties and function of the tools they are made into.

Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
