My Project
Teaching students with specials needs requires diverse approaches to learning. Integrating technology while teaching science and social studies would broaden my students’ horizons. The addition of a class Ipad could enable students to travel virtually to a historical sight and become emersed in history. It could also enable students to observe a science experiment in real time. These are just two examples of how a class Ipad could enhance student learning.
With this in mind, I am seeking to integrate an Ipad into our classroom.
This will not only enhance student learning but also expose students to new tech, and provide my learners with many new experiences. The addition of a class Ipad will also allow students access to a variety of STEM opportunities while providing a richer learning environment to keep students engaged. Using this new technology will also aid my students in mastering grade level content standards following the Alabama Alternate Achievement Standards curriculum. I look forward to engaged learners through the use of our class Ipad!
