My Project
As a U.S. History teacher, I want to bring innovation into the classroom by integrating STEAM tools that make the past more engaging and relevant. With access to an Apple MacBook, my students will explore history through multimedia projects, interactive timelines, digital storytelling, and virtual exhibits.
Using iMovie, GarageBand, Keynote, and other creative apps, students will research historical events and express their understanding by creating podcasts, documentaries, graphic designs, and digital presentations.
This blends historical content with technology, art, and critical thinking—core elements of STEAM education.
The MacBook will also allow me to efficiently manage digital resources, support project-based learning, and model how technology can deepen analysis and creativity in humanities subjects. This project bridges the gap between traditional history education and modern 21st-century skills, preparing students to think critically about the past while using tools that shape the future.
