My Students
The world is changing into a technology age. Children can learn just about anything on a computer. My classroom lacks this resource. It's a must for the children of today.
My children are second graders.
They are enthusiastic and ready to learn. They are kind and giving. They are always trying to please others. This is what I love about them the most. I want to be able to provide them with resources that will help them for today and tomorrow. Our school is a charter school in the inner city located in the state of New York.
My Project
I am requesting two computers. My classroom doesn't have any computers in an age where they are the norm. The computers will be a learning center capable of serving 4-6 students. The students will use these computers for all subject areas. They will help especially when they have research projects due.
I feel that additional resources in the classroom provide students with other ways of learning.
They need to explore and be challenge to learn different things everyday. The computers can be a guide and offer them ways to explore their interest. We are always thinking beyond our text books and this will take us there.
