My Project

As an 8th grade English Language Arts teacher, I’m always looking for high-interest literature that sparks curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of reading. The Hunger Games does just that. Its fast-paced plot, powerful themes, and relatable characters engage even the most reluctant readers while offering meaningful opportunities to discuss inequality, government control, resilience, and personal agency.

With 100 copies, every student will have their own book to read, annotate, and connect with.

This will allow us to build a truly immersive and inclusive classroom experience. These books will be used across multiple classes and school years, ensuring that countless students benefit from this powerful story.
