My Project
My students in Redford, Michigan are some of the most creative, resilient, and joyful kids I’ve ever met. They come to music class with energy, curiosity, and a desire to express themselves. Teaching them rhythm and musical expression is truly a gift. Whether we’re exploring world drumming patterns, creating our own beats, or performing together as a group, I see their confidence grow with every session.
These drums will make a real difference in their lives.
They’ll give students a powerful outlet for self-expression, a sense of pride in performance, and a deeper connection to cultures around the world. Music builds community, and with these drums, my students will have the tools to create something beautiful—together. I’m so proud to be their teacher and witness their growth through music.
