This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am looking for help in supporting my students in learning in the 21st century! My students are urban school students who don’t always have access to materials that allow them to learn independently and to be as creative as possible. Despite not always having the best materials, many of my students persevere in getting recognized. Having a color printer will go a long way to brightening the classroom and making sure all my students can showcase their talents all of the time! The headphones will allow my struggling readers and English language learners the ability to work independently in their online Lexia program. Currently, there can be up to 8 students trying to focus and listen to their computers with their volume all on.
