This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach an incredible group of creative, curious, and resilient students who love to learn and explore the world around them. Many of my students come from underprivileged backgrounds and face daily challenges, yet they show up eager to engage, create, and succeed. What makes them special is their ability to persevere and their enthusiasm for hands-on learning opportunities that allow them to express themselves and think outside the box.

The 3D printer pens and how-to books I am requesting will open up a world of possibilities for my students, allowing them to connect their learning to real-world applications.

With these resources, my students will bring their writing and reading to life by transforming their stories and ideas into tangible, 3D creations. This project will enhance their STEM and literacy skills by integrating art, engineering, and storytelling in an engaging and meaningful way.

The how-to books will guide students through the design process, helping them learn to plan, problem-solve, and execute their ideas. The 3D printer pens will provide the tools they need to create, boosting their confidence and creativity while encouraging collaboration and critical thinking.

My goal for this project is to inspire a love for reading, writing, and innovation in my students. I want to empower them to see themselves as creators, engineers, and storytellers. These resources will help them explore their potential, develop new skills, and express their unique ideas in ways they never imagined possible.
