Bringing Stories to Life: Hands-On Learning with Felt Boards

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are curious, creative, and eager to learn in hands-on ways. They thrive when given opportunities to engage with interactive materials that bring learning to life. The felt boards and story sets in this project will help develop their storytelling skills, enhance language development, and make lessons more engaging.
With these materials, my students will be able to retell stories, create their own narratives, and strengthen their comprehension skills in a fun and meaningful way.
The laminating sheets will allow me to preserve learning materials for repeated use, while the fan and cleaning supplies will help create a comfortable and hygienic classroom environment.
My goal is to foster a love for storytelling, improve communication skills, and encourage creativity in a way that supports all learning styles. My students are special because they bring their own unique perspectives to every lesson, and I want to provide them with the tools to express themselves in a hands-on, interactive way.
