Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Everything is better in 3-D, especially life science! My school district's science program focuses on teaching science through inquiry-based investigations. However, when we get to life science, we fall flat. Help us bring life back into life science with some 3-D models of the human body.
My students are a very enthusiastic group of fifth grade students.
This is a great group of kids that invests themselves in every learning opportunity available to them. The majority of my students have been attending their neighborhood elementary school since Pre-K, therefore they have developed a very unique feeling of camaraderie in our classroom.
My Project
These three-dimensional models of the human torso and heart will create excitement among my students about the study of the human body. It will also provide a better understanding of the different structures and functions of human anatomy. My students will be able to manipulate and locate human organs in relation to the structure of the human body.
Our kids live in a three-dimensional world.
It is essential for our public schools to have the visuals, technology, and manipulatives necessary to provide children with rich multisensory experiences.
