My Project
In our 7th-grade science classroom, students explore big ideas—atoms and molecules, ecosystems, human impact on the environment, and Earth’s systems. These concepts are often abstract and difficult to visualize. A 3D printer will allow us to turn those ideas into physical, hands-on models that students can see, touch, and manipulate.
With a 3D printer, students will build models of atomic structures, molecular bonds, food webs, natural resource systems, and more.
This tool will enhance our learning of key Oklahoma science standards, including 7.PS1.1, 7.LS2.1, 7.LS2.2 and 7.ESS3.1–3.
This project will transform our science classroom into an interactive, engaging, and inclusive space where students can build a more profound understanding through creativity, collaboration, and hands-on exploration.
