Help me give my students tools so they can code python on the iPads, and wirelessly push their code to the screen using the Apple TV so class can de-compose it and provide feedback in real-time.

My Project
In today’s tech-driven world, unequal access to technology leaves many students—especially those from minority and lower-income communities—struggling to compete. My classroom is filled with passionate, creative learners eager to explore the world of coding, but without access to the right tools, their dreams are often stifled. For my female students, the barriers to entering STEM fields are even higher, and for the 40% of my students with special needs, accessible technology is critical to leveling the playing field.
This project aims to break down those barriers.
By providing iPads and an Apple TV, we can create a dynamic, interactive learning environment where students collaborate to design and debug code in real time. This setup mirrors professional tools used in the tech industry, giving my students the skills and confidence to see themselves as future innovators.
Every student deserves a chance to see their potential realized. For my female students, this project will empower them to take on leadership roles in coding and STEM activities, inspiring confidence in a field where women are underrepresented. For my special needs students, iPads provide game-changing accessibility features—like text-to-speech, voice commands, and visual aids—that enable full participation and engagement.
This project is about more than coding; it’s about creating pathways to opportunity. With these tools, my students will develop critical skills like problem-solving, teamwork, and perseverance—skills that will carry them to college and careers in computer science and beyond.
This project helps close the digital divide for students who have the passion to succeed but lack the resources to get started. By donating, you’ll equip my students with the tools to break barriers, build confidence, and envision a future in technology. Together, we can help every student, regardless of background or ability, see that they belong in STEM.
