My students need to have a fun way to learn fundamentals. Zoo phonics will help them learn letters, phonics, phonemic awareness, rhyming words, and even help students start to read words.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” ― Nelson Mandela My student's spend the day getting oriented with school setting and socializing with others. My goal is for them to be socially, emotionally and academically prepared for school.
My students are a group of eager learners who want to learn all they can.
Most of my students are ELL and low socioeconomic status. However, that does not stop them from being the sweetest students ever and eager to learn. Zoo phonics will assist me in laying the foundation for them to begin to read. These are our future leaders and they need to learn to read because it is a part of our everyday life. My students are beginning to get acclimated to school and learning all the rules and procedures. Now it is time to jump into the many academics that they must learn before the end of the school year.
My Project
Pre-K lays the foundation for our leaders of tomorrow's education. It is my duty to get these leaders prepared to read. Zoo Phonics teaches students alphabets, phonics, and so much more. Alphabets and phonemic awareness is the foundation to reading. This would be a great addition to the already many fun things we do in the classroom.
Donating to our project will help continue to lay a great foundation for our next great leaders.
Zoo phonics will give students a new and fun way to learn alphabet, phonemic awareness, rhyming, pre-sound blending, and pre-writing. Our next leaders will be prepared to read and acclimated with how to learn in a classroom setting.
