This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
With the pandemic, so many of my kindergarten students have not had the normal experiences of pre-K or play dates and need opportunities to play with their peers.
Purposeful play is the perfect opportunity for students to increase their social emotional learning.
Play encourages problem solving, cooperation, and perseverance.
These items will give my students more variety in their play. Being able to have choice in what they want to play with, and having a variety of materials available to keep their interests high and tap into different students' interests.
