Help me give my students alternative recess options and fine motor games/toys. I'm hoping to bring play back into Kindergarten!

My Students
I love to partner with parents and students to love learning and love themselves. Each child's life is so valuable and, in my classroom, I make sure all my students know it. I teach at a Title One School in Chesapeake, VA. We serve over 900 students in grades Pre-K-2. Since I teach Kindergarten, I am their first venture to school expectations and learning. I guide them on a journey of self-discovery- what they think about, how they respond to others, and what they can do.
I love watching them grow in confidence when they realize they can be far greater than what they thought possible.
My Project
I write this project thinking about my own small kids ages 5, 3, 1, and 7 months. I want them to enjoy being kids. I want them to PLAY. The items I picked in this project are things I think my Kindergarteners will ENJOY and need for school readiness in the classroom.
The yoga spots and the jump ropes will serve as great alternative options for recess if students need to play on their own or have social anxieties.
The fine motor games and "bots" are great things for my children to engage in during the first 20 days of school. Since we live in the age of technology and swiping, a lot of children aren't getting enough strength in their hand/wrist muscles to actually hold a pencil probably and/or write.
Through play, I hope to get those fingers and eye coordination up to speed!
