Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These items will provide my students with engaging hands on lessons. These specific items will give them the opportunity to see how plants grow in real time and in different ways. Our standard focuses on what plants need to grow and we can see that with the hydroponics kit.

The see-through compost will let them see first hand how matter composts and recycles back into the Earth.

My goal with this project it to bring the real world into our classroom with these items versus just showing videos or pictures.
